red hair: how to get it and keep it healthy!

(bottom picture is my hair)
i'm sure you went through so many products to try and get that firy hot red! well, i'm going to tell you how i went from black to bright red!.

okay i die my hair so much that i did not want to keep it dark anymore ,so i decided to go red! , but i had black hair and i did not want to bleach it, my hair was so dead after the first time oi bleached it i had to cut it very short, and i do not look cute with short hair. so i'm going to tell you how i did it!

step 1:the product i bought was from sally's and it is called "L'Oreal HICOLOR reds for dark hair only" and it cost about 6$ and you mix it with 30 volume creme and it looks nasty and chunky,ew! but it comes with this little color thing and i am telling you wear a shirt you do not care about because it stains like nobody's business! and it stains skin also, so put vasoline all over you're face so it does not stain you're face :)

step 2: you normally would leave it in for about 30-40 minutes, i left mine in for an hour it came out bright! i was happy with the color. after you left it for the desired amount of time wash it with "COLD" WATER ONLY , THE HOT WATER WILL TAKE THE COLOR OUT OF YOUR HAIR. so most likely with red it is the fastest fading color and to keep it you have to do a-lot, wash it with cold water only and use "ion -repair solutions" they cost a dollar at sally's and also try and get the "REDKEN color extend" shampoo and conditioner and "riveting reds shampoo and conditioner "

these will help keep your red hair healthy and keep the color in longer. and as much as i died my hair, and i was only 18 , my hair was not damaged ! what i did was i dyed it and then again the next day, so
get 2. if you have any questions feel free to ask.

NOTE:.if you have light bleached hair it will come out pink if you use it on bleached hair, IT DOES NOT WORK ON LIGHT HAIR, YOUR HAIR HAS TO BE DARK.
